Two months ago I came across the acupuncture clinic in Bangkok Thailand. Immediately, I had to try out how the treatment works. So I went to the Chinese hospital in Bangkok. I have never seen a hospital like that my life. Each floor has its own Chinese doctors who practice Chinese medicine.
On one floor, there are doctors who are using exclusively herbs and teas. Each floor has a different Chinese medicine practice. I went to floor number five where they practice acupuncture. I came into the room and there are several hospital beds around each bed, there is a plastic curtain. You feel like you are in the real hospital. It kind of scary but still better than mainstream medicine.
The doctor said hello. She asked me what is wrong with me, how I feel. I told her that I feel tired all the time, and I have no energy. I told her also that I cannot sleep at night but can sleep during the daytime. That is fine because I am a freelancer I can work at night.
She felt my pulse on my wrist. Apparently this is how the doctor gets some general information about your health. He can find out if you are sick or healthy only with measuring your pulse.
Then she started to use acupuncture needles. She was around 20 needles on my body. I am attaching few images down below where you can actually see the needles stuck in my head.
When she puts all the needles, she closed the curtain, and I rested for 30 min. She told me I should come back at least 10 times. If your energy is out of whack, then you need more acupuncture sessions to improve your health.
And the price of the session is very affordable. It cost around $15 per session. You can have 10 acupuncture sessions each month. This hospital is really affordable.
I had around 20 sessions altogether, and I must say that I feel better. I cannot say how much better, but I feel some improvement in my health. I will always come back to get a good acupuncture treatment because I like the science that is behind it. I believe that the disruption of energy inside the human body can cause sickness.
